Your agent searches for mentions of your brand name and product keywords using the search tweets action. It pulls the most recent results, filters by engagement metrics, and flags high-priority mentions that need a human response. Pair this with Slack to have your agent post a daily digest of conversations worth joining, sorted by follower count and reply volume.

Scheduled content publishing

Draft a week of tweets in Google Sheets with columns for content, scheduled time, and thread status. Your agent reads each row, posts the tweet at the right time, and updates the sheet with the tweet URL and engagement stats after 24 hours. For threads, it posts the first tweet, captures the ID, and replies in sequence to build the full thread automatically.

Competitor and industry tracking

Your agent runs recurring searches for competitor handles, industry hashtags, and trending topics in your space. It collects tweet volume, sentiment patterns, and top-performing content, then compiles a weekly brief. How it works

Connect your X account through a standard OAuth flow. Weldable requests the scopes your agent needs for reading and writing tweets, managing lists, and accessing direct messages. Tokens refresh automatically so your agent stays connected without manual intervention.

Once connected, describe what you want in natural language. Say "post a tweet about our new feature launch" or "search for tweets mentioning our product from the last 48 hours" and Weldable matches your intent to the correct API call. Your agent handles character limits, thread formatting, and media attachments. Because Weldable connects multiple services, your agent can pull data from one platform and publish to Twitter in a single conversation turn.

Tips

Respect rate limits by scoping your searches. The X API v2 enforces strict rate limits, especially on search endpoints. Use time parameters and specific queries instead of broad keyword sweeps. Your agent will get better results faster by searching for exact phrases or combining operators like from: and has:replies.

Threads outperform single tweets for long-form content. When your agent has more to say than 280 characters allow, have it create a thread by posting the first tweet and replying to it in sequence. Each reply references the previous tweet ID, keeping the thread connected.

Use lists for focused monitoring. Instead of searching the entire platform, have your agent create and maintain Twitter lists for competitors, industry leaders, and key customers. Reading from a list is faster and returns more relevant results than broad searches.

Track engagement with delayed reads. Posting a tweet and immediately checking its stats returns zeros. Have your agent wait at least a few hours before pulling impression and engagement data. A 24-hour window gives the most useful performance signal.
