Daily sales reporting

Your agent queries Squarespace orders from the last 24 hours, calculates total revenue and average order value, and posts a summary to Slack. Inventory reconciliation

How it works

Connect your Squarespace site using API keys generated from your site's developer settings. Weldable authenticates requests using these keys with the specific permissions your workflows need. The connection covers the Commerce API for orders, inventory, and transactions.

Tips

Squarespace API access requires a Commerce plan. The commerce APIs are only available on Business and Commerce plans. Basic and Personal plans do not expose order or inventory endpoints. Verify your plan level before setting up the integration.

Product variants have independent inventory. Each variant (size, color, etc.) tracks its own stock level. When your agent checks inventory, it needs to look at the variant level to get accurate numbers. A product can show as "in stock" even if most variants are sold out.

Order status values are specific to Squarespace. Orders use statuses like PENDING, FULFILLED, and CANCELED rather than generic terms. Your agent should reference these exact values when filtering or reporting on orders.

Transaction data includes fees and taxes. The transactions API returns gross amounts, Squarespace fees, payment processor fees, taxes, and net amounts separately. When your agent calculates revenue, make sure it is using the right field for your reporting needs.

Rate limits are modest. Squarespace enforces rate limits on API calls. For stores with large catalogs or high order volumes, structure your agent's queries to request only the data it needs and avoid unnecessary full-catalog scans.
