Weldable's Outlook MCP integration lets your AI agents read, send, organize, and manage email in Microsoft Outlook through natural language. Instead of switching between your inbox and your AI tools, your agent works directly with your mailbox to draft replies, triage messages, and keep your email workflow running in the background.

Use cases

Inbox triage and categorization

Your agent scans incoming messages and sorts them by priority, sender, and topic. Customer inquiries go to a "Support" folder. Internal updates get categorized under "Team." Messages from key accounts get flagged as high priority. Your agent does this continuously, so when you open your inbox, the sorting is already done and you go straight to what matters.

Automated follow-up sequences

When you send a proposal or a cold outreach email, your agent tracks whether a reply comes in. If three business days pass with no response, it drafts a follow-up and sends it. The follow-up references the original message, uses the right tone, and includes any attachments from the first email. You set the cadence and your agent handles the persistence.

Meeting scheduling from email threads

Someone emails asking to meet. Your agent reads the thread, checks your calendar availability through the Google Calendar integration, drafts a reply with two or three time slot options, and sends it. When the other person confirms, your agent creates the calendar event and sends the invite. The entire back-and-forth happens without you touching your calendar app.

Daily digest summaries

Every morning, your agent reads unread messages from the last 12 hours and generates a summary: who wrote, what they need, and which messages require action. How it works

Connect your Microsoft account through OAuth. Weldable requests the mail-related scopes needed to read, send, and organize messages. Token refresh is handled automatically, so your agent stays connected without repeated sign-ins.

Describe what you want in natural language. Weldable matches your intent to the right Microsoft Graph API call, resolves folder names and email addresses, and executes the action. You can chain Outlook actions with other integrations, reading an email, processing its content, and posting a summary to Slack in a single workflow.

Tips

Be specific about which mailbox. If you have access to shared mailboxes, specify which one you want your agent to work with. Defaulting to your primary mailbox is usually correct, but shared inboxes for support or sales need to be called out explicitly.

Use folder-based workflows. Moving messages into specific folders after processing them creates a clear record of what has been handled. Your agent can create folders on the fly if they do not exist, keeping your organizational system flexible.

Draft before sending for sensitive emails. For outreach to clients or external contacts, have your agent create a draft instead of sending immediately. You review the draft, make any edits, and then trigger the send. This adds a human checkpoint for high-stakes communication.

Time zones matter for scheduling. When your agent suggests meeting times or sends time-sensitive messages, make sure it knows your time zone. Include it in your instructions or set it as a default in your workflow configuration. Outlook stores times in UTC, and your agent converts them.
