Tips

Transcripts require the right Workspace plan. Google Meet transcription is available on Business Standard and higher plans. Your agent will not be able to retrieve transcripts if the host's account does not include this feature.

Allow processing time for recordings. Recordings and transcripts are not available immediately after a meeting ends. Google needs time to process them, so your agent should wait or check back rather than requesting artifacts the moment the call finishes.

Combine with Google Calendar for full lifecycle automation. Use Calendar to find available times, Meet to create the conference, and Gmail to send the invite with context. Your agent can handle the entire flow in one step.

Use meeting metadata for organization. Include project names or identifiers in the meeting title so your agent can filter and retrieve meetings by context later. This is especially useful when building searchable meeting archives.
