Google Cloud MCP Integration

Connect Google Cloud to your AI agents through Weldable.

Developer Tools

Google Cloud Platform is a suite of cloud computing services offering compute, storage, databases, machine learning, and networking infrastructure. The Google Cloud MCP integration with Weldable lets your AI agents interact with GCP resources through natural language, making it faster to check service status, query data, and manage infrastructure without switching to the Google Cloud Console.

Use cases

Check resource status across projects

Your AI agent can query the status of Compute Engine instances, Cloud Run services, Cloud Functions, and other GCP resources. Ask for a summary of running instances, recent deployments, or service health, and the agent returns a clear overview in seconds.

Query Cloud Storage buckets

Need to list objects in a bucket, check storage usage, or verify file uploads? Your agent handles Cloud Storage operations through simple requests. This is useful for teams that need to verify data pipeline outputs, audit stored files, or check bucket configurations regularly.

Pull billing and cost data

Your agent can query Google Cloud Billing for spending breakdowns by project, service, or time period. Use this to generate monthly cost reports, flag unexpected spending increases, or compare costs across environments. Deliver results to Slack or Google Sheets for team visibility.

How it works

Connect Google Cloud to Weldable using a service account with the appropriate IAM roles for the services your agent needs. Once configured on the integrations page, your AI agent sends natural language requests that Weldable translates into the correct GCP API calls. The agent can work across multiple Google Cloud services from a single conversational interface.

Tips

Follow least-privilege principles. Grant the service account only the IAM roles your agent actually needs. Avoid using owner or editor roles for routine operational queries.

Specify the GCP project. If you work with multiple projects, include the project ID or name in your request so the agent targets the correct one.

Start with read-only roles. Roles like viewer and monitoring.viewer give your agent access to query resources and metrics without the ability to make changes. Expand permissions as your workflows require write access.
