Google Analytics MCP Integration
Connect Google Analytics to your AI agents through Weldable.
Google Analytics is the most widely used web analytics platform, tracking website traffic, user behavior, conversions, and marketing attribution. The Google Analytics MCP integration with Weldable enables your AI agents to query analytics data, pull reports, and surface insights through natural language, so your team can get answers from their data without building custom reports in the GA interface.
Use cases
Generate daily traffic summaries
Your AI agent can query Google Analytics for daily sessions, page views, bounce rates, and traffic sources, then deliver a summary to Slack or Google Sheets each morning. This keeps your marketing and product teams informed about site performance without anyone logging into Google Analytics.
Analyze landing page performance
Ask your agent to compare conversion rates, time on page, and bounce rates across your landing pages. The agent can identify which pages perform best, which ones have high drop-off rates, and where visitors are coming from, helping your team prioritize optimization efforts.
Track campaign attribution
Your agent can pull UTM-tagged traffic data from Google Analytics to show how specific marketing campaigns are driving visits and conversions. This helps your marketing team understand which channels and campaigns deliver the best return without manually slicing data in the GA reports interface.
How it works
Connect Google Analytics to Weldable through OAuth on the integrations page. Once authorized, your AI agent can query your GA4 properties for metrics, dimensions, and report data using natural language. Weldable translates your requests into Google Analytics Data API calls and handles authentication automatically.
Tips
Specify the property or view. If you manage multiple Google Analytics properties, mention which one your request applies to so the agent queries the correct data source.
Use specific metric names. Google Analytics has hundreds of metrics and dimensions. Using terms like "sessions," "page views," "conversion rate," or "source/medium" helps the agent construct accurate queries.
Include date ranges in every request. Analytics data is time-sensitive. Always mention the time period you want to analyze, whether it is "today," "last 7 days," or a specific date range, to get relevant results.
