Create and publish content entries

Your AI agent can create new entries in Contentful based on your content types, fill in the required fields, and publish them. Whether you are adding blog posts, product listings, or landing page sections, the agent handles entry creation without you opening the Contentful web app.

Bulk update content fields

When you need to update a field across many entries, like changing a category name or updating a CTA, your agent can query the affected entries and apply the change in bulk. This is much faster than editing entries one at a time through the UI.

Audit content for completeness

Ask your agent to check your Contentful space for entries with missing required fields, unpublished drafts older than a certain date, or entries that reference deleted assets. This helps your content team maintain quality and catch issues before they affect your published site.

How it works

Connect Contentful to Weldable using your space ID and management API token from the Contentful settings page. Once configured, your AI agent interacts with your content types, entries, and assets by interpreting your natural language requests. Weldable translates each request into the correct Contentful Management API call.

Tips

Reference content types by name. Contentful organizes entries by content type. Mention the content type when creating or querying entries so the agent knows which schema to use.

Separate environments for safety. Contentful supports multiple environments within a space. Test content changes in a staging environment before applying them to your production environment.

Include locale when working with translations. If your Contentful space supports multiple locales, specify which locale you want to read or write. This ensures the agent updates the correct language version of your content.
