Tips

Enrich by domain for company data, by email for contacts. Clearbit's company API takes a domain name and returns firmographic data. The person API takes an email and returns individual details. Using the right endpoint for your use case improves match rates and avoids unnecessary API calls.

Cache enrichment results to reduce API usage. Clearbit charges per lookup on most plans. Have your agent check whether a record was already enriched recently before making a new API call. Store the enrichment date as a custom field so your workflows can skip records that are still fresh.
